My Dearest Lighthouse Family,
This letter is a glimpse into the Word of Christ. My next scheduled ministry date is July 11. I may call a service before that day.
A month ago, we took a sharp turn in the Word. The last nine weeks are pivotal to the spiritual work of Christ which He now begins. The Word will be like the first stick of a needle in the flesh. If done properly, you will be in little pain.
As I write, it is June 25th. Yesterday morning the Lord Jesus spoke into my Spirit until almost 7:50 a.m. He spoke of the seed Lighthouse lost due to being forgetful hearers. He addressed this issue a few weeks back. He is coming again to sow the seed that was lost. If any of you read this letter, He may quicken word to you.
Remember He said a sifting was going on. I trust you haven’t forgotten that. He said He would sift by what we love. I assure you when He brings back this seed, you will see where your love is. There are two basic areas of seed He was dealing with. The first area was little foxes that spoil the vine. The second area was a little leaven spoils the whole lump.
You see, at this stage of growth we have our own spiritual priority. This is our life. His spiritual priority must become our life. Jesus said, “He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it (Matthew 10:39).” The Apostle Paul grew spiritually to understand the meaning of this. He lived, but he didn’t live, but Christ lived in him. The life he then lived was by faith in the Christ in him.
You should always remember, you cannot live in Christ that which you still live in the nature. This piercing of the joint and marrow is a Holy Place. That concept has been forgotten in the seed that was lost. The good news is Jesus is always working and so is our Heavenly Father. We cannot afford any longer to forget the seed. We can no longer afford the loss of fruit by forgetting the seed.
Everything you have fought for, believed for, endured for, hoped for, now rests upon what this body is willing to give up. These next months are life and death to you as a believer and as a spiritual body. I have confidence that when He begins sowing seed that was previously lost, all of you will receive it, care for it, water it, and produce fruit that remains forever. Look forward with expectation the coming of Christ through the Word.
Finally, we celebrate July 4th on this Thursday night. We will have food, fellowship, and fireworks. Let us remember our forefathers and those who gave their lives for a free nation. Let us give thanks for the United States of America, the greatest nation in all the world.
